Supporting Pets and Their People with PAWS of Jackson Hole

This pandemic is impacting everyone. With many out of work and struggling to pay bills, people are forced to make difficult decisions about care for their pets. But during these trying times, there are still great stories of giving.

My wife, Donna and I are deeply committed to community service. We are fortunate to work with many incredible nonprofits that are on the frontlines of the ongoing crisis. I am particularly proud to serve on the board of PAWS of Jackson Hole, an organization for animal welfare services. They are seeing a dramatic increase in demand for their programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

PAWS launched PAWS COVID Pet Fund to offer financial assistance with veterinary bills, pet food vouchers and emergency boarding. Since the pandemic hit, PAWS has assisted over 270 families, with most owning multiple pets.

In these tough times, we must support our communities if we’re able. I’m inspired by the great work of PAWS and so many other small but mighty nonprofits that continue to serve their community during this crisis.

Think about how you can give your time, talent and/or treasure when times get tough. Give financial support if you can, become a mentor, check in on your neighbors and offer your assistance in your community.
